About Me
I moved to the Bay Area 11 years ago to study Bookbinding at the Capricornus School for Bookbinding and Restoration, with Ms. Anne Kahle. Since then, I have worked full-time in the Preservation Lab at the San Francisco Public Library, and am a regular Bookbinding instructor at the San Francisco Center for the Book. Somewhere in this time, I was able to pursue my interest in letterpress printing. I was an apprentice at Mr. Peter Koch’s studio, in Berkeley, California, where I learned to print.
I have since left my day-job at the Library, and have created Milkfed
Press, which is a culmination of my love for both Bookbinding
and Letterpress printing.
